Beginners Course - DETAILS OF THE 2019 COURSE WILL BE COMING SOON!
Commencing Sunday 14th January 2018 at 8am (subsequent weeks 8:15am) - Horton Country Park, Horton Lane, Epsom, KT19 8PL
Why not join us for the 2018 beginners running group
Ideal for those new or returning to running - the sessions alternate between jogging and walking. Over 12 weeks you will build up your running to the point where you can complete a continuous run of at least 5 miles (8 km). Each session is led by an England Athletics qualified coach or run leader and will begin with a gentle warm up and end with a cool down and stretch.
The course is open to all ladies over age 18 and is ideal for anyone wanting to start running in an enthusiastic, fun and friendly environment. We aim to keep groups reasonably small in order to make sure everyone benefits from the support they need and as a result we do have to limit spaces and therefore you do need to pre-book your place. Pre-registration by 10th January is required.
After completing the course some of our beginners feel confident enough to take part in our Hogsmill 5 race which takes place in May.
Please feel free to download the course poster here and share with your colleagues, friends and family.
