Parkrun organise free, weekly, 3 miles (5 km) timed runs around the world. They take place every Saturday morning at 9am, are open to everyone, free, and are safe and easy to take part in.
Our "home" parkrun is Nonsuch (look out for our Epsom Allsorts post) but members regularly take part at Banstead Woods, Bushy, Reigate, Guildford and more.
Other local events include: Roundshaw Downs, Kingston, Wimbledon Common, Tooting Common, Lloyd Park, Riddlesdown and Richmond Park.

We participate in the Ladies Surrey League Cross Country (Division 2). The season runs from October to February and consists of four fixtures per season in different locations, varying in distance from 4 to 5 miles (6 to 8km). You don't have to be super speedy - most of us are pleased to just get round but it helps if you are not afraid of getting a little muddy!
As well as the fun, of course, there are other rewards for having a go!
• After each match there is hot chocolate and cakes
• If you take part in 3 events out of 4 in any one season you will be presented with a
Club Cross Country Team Hoody
• After the season ends there is a curry night at a local restaurant
Further information and past results can be found at www.surreyleague.org
