We have a wide range of club kit available; t-shirts, vests and hoodies in a selection of colours can be worn at any time, however our club colour is purple and this should be worn when you are representing the club at cross country or other external races.

What do we do ?

While safeguarding is the responsibility of everyone within the club (led by the whole committee), we as your club welfare officers hold the primary responsibility for managing and reporting concerns about adults at risk.

Our key responsibilites

  • To understand the UK Athletics Safeguarding policies for Adults and Children.
  • Support the club build a culture where members feel welcome, safe, included and supported.
  • Ensure you are all aware of who to speak to if you need to report a welfare concern.
  • To report, if required, any concerns to the UK Athletics Lead Safeguarding officer or if urgent report to the Police or Social Services.

As Welfare Officers we form part of the club committee and perform a key role in implementing good safeguarding governance locally within the Allsorts.
